Mrs. Kristie Lawrence
Hello, and welcome to my page! My name is Kristie Lawrence. I am a 2004 graduate of NC State University in Raleigh, N.C. I taught English and Study Skills at Broughton High School before moving to Johnston County to teach middle school Language Arts. I live in Smithfield with my family. My son is in Ninth Grade this year and is an IB student attending SSS High School. We enjoy spending time at church, NC State football games, New River National Park in West Virginia, and most importantly, at home! I absolutely adore our Smithfield Community! If you are ever curious regarding what we are working on in class, please send me an email! Or, you may sign up to receive weekly summaries from your student's Google Classroom Account! Thanks for visiting my class webpage and have a fabulous day!
Welcome back! I hope you managed to have some fun and relax a bit over your summer vacation! I can't wait to meet you and begin what I am sure will be an academically challenging and adventurous 8th grade year!
