Mrs. E. Joy Valle

Born and raised in Smithfield North Carolina, Mrs. Valle traveled the world before coming back to teach at Smithfield Middle School.  The 2019-2020 school year begins year twelve for Mrs. Valle with experience ranging from grades 6-8 in both English Language Arts and Social Studies.  Mrs. Valle currently teaches ELA and SS in the 6th Grade.  Mrs. Valle is married and has two daughters with another little girl on the way in the Fall.  She enjoys traveling, speaking Spanish, working in the community with Relay for Life and helping students reach their potential even beyond middle school.  Mrs. Valle graduated from Campbell University in 2008 with a major in Middle School Education and a minor in Spanish.  Mrs. Valle is a strong supporter of the #SSStrong community showcasing the innovative efforts going on in our community.
