Ms. Amy Leach

My name is Amy Leach and I have been teaching at Smithfield Middle for 6 years now.  I am originally from Ohio and have lived in NC for 25 years now.  I am a huge Buckeyes fan!  I have two children, a daughter who is 22 and a son who is 19.  I enjoy going to the beach, reading, shopping and dining out!  I look forward to a new school year and working with your child!

All 6th grade students will need to log into their ELA teacher's google classroom.  Find your ELA teacher from your online schedule and look at what block you have ELA and join that classroom.

  • Updated Social Distancing Procedures

Information on social distancing in school settings has been recently updated by the NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS). Upon receiving information from the NCDHHS, we consulted with the Johnston County Public Health Department on the impact these updates will have on our school system. This ongoing collaboration continues to guide our decision-making as students return to classrooms for in-person instruction.
