Mr. Joseph Batts

Degrees and Certifications:

Mr. Joseph Batts

This is my second year at South Smithfield Elementary School.  I grew up in Long Island, New York, and completed my educational experience in Michigan.  I taught in Michigan for several years, then returned back to North Carolina to be near my dad.  I recently moved from Raleigh to Selma.  I am very excited to be in the area and near the best Dynamic school in Johnston County.  I will be the EC-Teacher for the Cross Categorical Classroom.  I am excited about this school year and having a dynamic year with my students.  I enjoy traveling and have been to Japan twice on educational good will mission trips.
