Miss Jennifer Narron-Hardy (Miss Jennifer)
Hi all! I am Jennifer V. Narron-Hardy. I am the daughter of Sam and Joan Hardy right here in Smithfield, the daughter of the one true King, Jesus Christ, and I am the sister to Jeff and Trey. I could go on and on... I am a neice, granddaughter, cousin, sis-in-law, and auntie, too. But here at SSE I am Miss Jennifer. I live right here in the community and love to go places in town and here my name called. I always say that God did not give me my own children but has blessed me with hundreds here in Smithfield... I AM BLESSED!!! The children at SSE and their families hold a very huge spot in my heart!
I have taught school for a very long time. I started in Kindergarten for 2 years then went to Corinth-Holders and helped open the PreK there, one of the first 3 preschool classes in Johnston County Schools. It was amazing! We even began a 2 class day where I taught a class in the morning, rode the bus in the middle of the day to drop off the morning group and pick up the next group for the afternoon. From there I went back to Kindergarten. Taught that for most of my career but added first and second grades for a few years. I am so very thankful to have returned full circle and be back in PreK, and a 2 class a day schedule, at that!
Outside of school, I am the Class Administrator for Bible Study Fellowship, a Sunday School teacher, Deacon, and on a few committees at First Baptist Church in Smithfield, love hanging out with my family, love baseball, love delivering meals in the summer to our children and their families, try my best to serve Jesus...

As part of the Read to Achieve law (G.S. §115C-83.1) passed by the General Assembly in 2012, your child will take the Beginning-of-Grade 3 (BOG3) Reading Test to establish a baseline measure of beginning third-grade reading skills.
