Mrs. Candace Swain

Hi, my name is Candace Swain and I am excited to be your child's 4th grade teacher for the 2022 - 2023 school year! This will be my 17th year teaching in Johnston County Schools. My husband and I have a 10-year-old daughter, Presleigh, and a 7-year-old son, Camden. I love the beach, spending time with family, all things Harry Potter & Disney, Duke basketball, and being a teacher! I am a SSS graduate ℅ 2002! I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education in 2006 & a Master’s Degree in Education in 2008 from Campbell University. I am also AIG certified.

I love to hear from parents throughout the year. Please always contact me with questions or concerns. I would also love to hear from you if you are available to volunteer. ☺
