Ms. Cali Durning

Welcome back to SSE! I am so glad that you are here!

Hello! My name is Cali Durning and this will be my fourth year of teaching at SSE. I am orginally from Maryland, but relocated to Pittsburgh, PA. There, I received my degree in Early Childhood and Special Education from Robert Morris University. In July of 2016, I moved to NC to begin my teaching career. I am a HUGE Ice Hockey fan! I love watching the Pittsburgh Penguins and try to go to as many NHL games as possible each season. I have always wanted to be a teacher... it is my passion! When I am not at school, I am usually watching movies and spending time with family, friends, and my sweet pup; Lila. I will be continuing to serve as the Exceptional Children's teacher for first through third grade again this year. I am looking forward to another dynamic school year!
