Miss Shalaunda McLean

Welcome to Chemistry,

I am very excited to be teaching your child Chemistry this year.  I have a love of chemistry that I will bring to the classroom.  I worked as an Analytical Chemist in various industries for 15 years.  I bring many real world examples to the classroom.  I hope to make chemistry fun, exciting, and a future career choice for your child.

  • Hello Everyone,

This semester we will be using technology extensively in the classroom.  I would like to request that you bring your own device to class if possible.  This is not a requirement, but a request.  You will still be sccessful in the class if you do not have a device.  When I mention a device I am referring to a laptop or Chromebook.  A phone is not acceptable.  I am listing a document for those of you who plan on purchasing a Chromebook for the school year.  The document lists the specs for the Chromebook.
