Born in Wilson, NC, my parents are JoCo natives from the Kenly area. I graduated from Hunt High School, NC State, and VCU. I have taught high school mathematics in two different states in four different high schools, since 1987. I have been at West Johnston since 2004. I have been married for 35 years and have a 25-year-old son who graduated from Liberty University in May 2019 and got married in October of 2021. This is my LAST year of teaching; I am retiring in June 2023.

Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23
We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
