Mrs. Heather Markuson

Hello!

I love being Wildcat family! I grew up in Northeastern North Carolina and married my college sweetheart, Chris. We have two sons, Blake and Luke. We also have a friendly yellow lab named Peanut.

I have spent time in Dominica, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Iceland, and Mexico. Before teaching, I worked in advertising for a major NC newspaper.

At West, I teach English language acquisition, coach swimming, and advise Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).
