Ms. Hillary Hollingsworth

Welcome to Kindergarten!

I am excited to be joining the kindergarten team this year. For the past 12 years, I have taught Pre-k in Johnston and Onslow counties. I am looking forward to another year of learning and broadening my knowledge base.

I was born and raised in New York, where I love to visit. I graduated college from SUNY Brockport, received my teaching license from University of Mount Olive, and also received my Master’s degree in Special Education in December of 2021 from UMO

A little more about me...I love to cook, spend time with friends and family, watch any Syracuse basketball and football games, and travel. Looking forward to my second year with Polenta Elementary.

Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23

We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
