BS Education MA Curriculum and Instruction
Theresa Shearin
I am originally from Long Island, New York... but I hate cold weather! I went to college at St. John's University in Queens where I earned a BS in Education. I also have a masters' degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University. I moved to North Carolina in December of 1997 and taught for 10 years in Wilson County, where I taught 4th grade. I have been teaching fifth grade for 13 years at West Clayton. One year I had the opportunity to teach second grade. I will be teaching 5th grade science this year! Science is my passion! My daughter Amber is 21. I have one dog, Pete. In my free time I like to exercise.
