Degrees and Certifications:
Ever since I was a little girl, I have dreamed of becoming a teacher. I would spend my afternoons and summers playing school with all of my stuffed animals. I am so excited that my dream is now coming true. I cannot imagine spending my day doing anything else but teaching!
I graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in Science in 2011. Go Wolfpack! This will be my eighth year at West Clayton. I taught kindergarten for five years and this will be my third year in first grade.
I love to cook, read, watch movies, watch football (especially NCSU football), and spend time with my family. On the weekends, I spend some of my time working with the kids ministry at the Summit Church. My favorite color is red and my favorite food is ice cream. I have one cat named Bailey; he has been with my family for 18 years.
On December 20, 2014 I married my husband, Johnathan Lee! He loves visiting school and will stop by the classroom sometimes!
