Mrs. Regina Richardson
Who is Mrs. Richardson?
Read the following to find out a little bit about me.
I am originally from Portsmouth, Virginia. I have a wonderful husband, Gary Sr. We have been married for 30 years. Together we have 3 handsome sons, Gary, Jr., a 2016 graduate from Western Carolina University, Marcus, a 2018 graduate from Johnston Community College, and Alex, a 2019 graduate from Johnston Community College and a newly retired NAVY man. Also, gone but not forgotten, our sweet Boxer/Shepherd - Sparky. However, now I have a cool hermit crab named King.
I earned my Bachelor's from Saint Augustine’s University. GO FALCONS! I completed further studies at East Carolina University and earned my Teacher Certification. GO PIRATES! I'm loving it! And I'm living the dream!
I am currently a 2nd Grade teacher with a wonderful team and I'm excited about what each new year presents. I started teaching here at West Clayton in 2010. I enjoy all subjects, however, I love teaching Math.
I am a daughter, a sister, a niece, a cousin, an aunt, a wife, a mother, a dancer, a jumper, a runner, a good listener, a volunteer, a reliable friend, an inspiring teacher, and a role model.
I love working with children and not just my own. I love puzzles, watching the stars, watching and competing in Track and Field events. I currently hold the American W40 Women's Masters Triple Jump record. I love to travel within the States and have visited all but Alaska, Arizona, Hawaii, Montana, and New Mexico.
I love going to the movies with my husband, other family members, and friends. I also love watching movies at home.
If I could live somewhere else, I would love to move to the mountains.
I love to cook, however I do eat out at different types of restaurants in our area. My favorite fast food restaurant is Zaxby's. I love Sushi and Ice Cream (I probably shouldn't say those together. ) I love peppermint, mocha latte's and Oreo milkshakes. My favorite candybar is Almond Joy (I hope that doesn't age me. I love snacking on plain nacho chips. I love shopping at Walmart. My favorite color is Purple, and that's so wonderful because I am in the SISU House.
