Well here is it August already and we are having to go back with lots of changes.  I can't wait to meet all my new students and give them hugs, but I guess we will have to wait for that.  Here are a few links to get you started on our virtual journey incase I haven't been able to send you anything via email, Dojo or Canvas yet.  Whew! Lots to learn this year!
How to sign on to Chromebook - This video will help you with step by step directions
Tech Help Request Form - Fill this out and Ms. Lam or Mr. True will get back with you

I am so happy to meet you!  I can't wait to learn all about you so here is a little about me to get us started. :>)

A little information about me:  I graduated from St. Joseph's College on Long Island, in NY, where I grew up.  I have taught elementary education in New York, Virginia and North Carolina and have had the opportunity to teach some awesome classes in 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grades.  This will be my sixth year at West Clayton and year 19 in education and I'm still always excited for another new year to begin.   I have a wonderful husband and three wonderful children (in their 20's and 30's!!!!).  Unbelievable, I know! ;>)  It seems like just yesterday they were 'helping' me with school stuff....

In my free time I enjoy hiking, kayaking, reading, playing tennis, crocheting, taking pictures of interesting things and 'hanging out' with my family, our dog, Shelby and our two spoiled kitties.  :>)  Work hard and play hard!  Life is short so enjoy it!

Some of my favorite things:   the color hot pink, anything with bling, drinks like coffee, hot or cold with nut flavors especially,  stores like Target, Pauper's Books and TJ Maxx (like who doesn't), eateries like Panera, Chili's and Blaze, the seasons Fall and Spring, my back yard with the birds, a book and a cup of flavored green tea, foods like Milano dark chocolate cookies and dark chocolate with any kind of nuts.

Thank you for reading and let's work together to have a WONDERFUL year!
