All About Me

I was born and raised in Kinston, North Carolina. After attending East Carolina University and earning a degree in Psychology, I realized my calling was teaching. I returned to college and began my teaching career. I have been at West Clayton Elementary for 22 years. I have seen so many changes in education through the years. I am so thankful to call WCES home and am honored to teach these students.

I am happily married to my husband and best friend, Tim. We share three beautiful boys ranging in age from 19 years to 30 years old. In our free time, we love to boat and fish. Gardening is never ending! I love spending time with our German Shepherd.
  • I look forward to teaching and learning with my fourth and fifth graders this year. We will move onward together!

I will miss my rising sixth graders and I will always be here at WCES if they need me. Best of luck to you all!
