Mrs. Lydia O'Keefe-Grady
Born and raised in Orange County, California, I spent most of my lifetime living in Southern California soaking up the beautiful sunshine. I have three adult children (David, Allison & Ashley) and three grandchildren (Emma, Jonathan & Sydney). I attended Norco College and earned an AA in Hummanities & Philosophy along with ceritification in early childhood studies. In 2013, I earned my BA at California State University San Bernardino and completed my teaching credientials for special education grades k-12. My credentials include specialized authorization to teach students with autism and English language learners. I completed my college career with a Master's degree as MA- Education Specialist: special education option.
My husband Ian and I moved to Raleigh, North Carolina in July 2015 to be closer to our granchildren. We currently have 3 dogs, but don't be suprised if we end up adopting more! We love all animals, along with the beauiful outdoors that we found in North Carolina.

North Carolina schools are required to administer ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 to all students identified as English Learners (ELs) in the spring of each year to determine their progress in learning English. Each student is tested in four areas: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. This assessment helps us monitor their English language development.
