Welcome, 3rd graders! This will be my 16th year teaching and fifth here at WCES. This year is shaping up to be the best one yet! I'm excited to be part of a school community that is committed to putting students first.
Outside of the classroom, I am the mother of two girls-- Emily is in 7th grade and Katelyn is in 4th grade. I have a husband, Mike. I have a pet dog, two cats, and a turtle- George- who hangs out here in our classroom. I love to read, and paint. I also run, hike, and cycle. My happy place is anywhere outdoors. I love camping and yoga! I LOVE cows, coffee, and peaches.
I look forward to getting to know each and every one of my students and their families as we journey together through the third grade year!
Teaching is my passion. I love what I do and my goal this year is to give my students the tools to be motivated self-learners. Thank you for your support in this.
With much love,
