Welcome to 5th grade! I am Mrs. Lauvray and I am so happy to meet you!  I know this is going to be a great year for all of us to learn and love together.

This will be my 13th year teaching and my 7th year at West Clayton.  

I graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology.  I later pursued my passion for teaching and received certification in Elementary Education from East Carolina University.  Currently I am a student at East Carolina University pursuing a Master's Degree in Reading and Literacy. 

I live in Clayton with my husband Jeff and two children.... Andrew and Emma. Andrew is 15 and a Sophmore at Corinth Holders High School and Emma is 11 and in 8th grade at Riverwood Middle School.
