Mrs. Jennifer Welch

Hello!  My name is Jennifer Welch, and I will be teaching 4th grade math and science this school year.  I have 13 years of teaching experience, and have taught K, 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades. I also have my AIG credentials from Johnston County.

My husband, Jason, and I are both from Florida and attended Florida State University together.  We moved to Clayton in 2011 from Savannah, GA.  We have two girls - Peyton and Taylor.  Our two black labs, Jeb and Jackson, complete our crew.  Our girls are both very active with softball, and we love watching them play.

Odds & Ends:  My favorite color is red, and I love to read!  I collect things with anchors and arrows.  I love monograms, and mason jars.  The mountains are my favorite place to visit, and our family loves camping and spending time outdoors.  We also love sports, and playing with the dogs.

My classroom is my "happy place", and I truly can't imagine spending my days any other way than working with awesome kiddos in the classroom. I'm looking forward to another fun and fabulous school year here at River Dell!  Go Racers!
