Degrees and Certifications:
Welcome to my website. I work with selected fourth grade students in small groups on targeted skills in reading. I am a retired teacher and I team teach with another retired teacher, Mrs. Jernigan. We enjoy working to help students achieve their goals. We communicate to our parents through email and by phone. Monthly progress reports are sent through email. We enjoy working with our students and rejoice over their progress this year. Please feel free to contact us through email or at school, (919)553-7113.
North Carolina schools are required to administer ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 to all students identified as English Learners (ELs) in the spring of each year to determine their progress in learning English. Each student is tested in four areas: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. This assessment helps us monitor their English language development.

Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
