Education: I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University. I have a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Phoenix. I am also AIG certified.

Teaching History: This will be my fifteenth year teaching third grade at West Clayton.

Family Members: I have been with my husband, Mike, for about 20 years, we have been married for 13 years. My son, Rhone, is ten years old and is going to be in fifth grade at Riverwood this year. My daughter, Marlow, is five years old, and will be in kindergarten at Riverwood.  

Other Information: I am a vegetarian. I enjoy reading, running, playing games, biking, hiking, yoga, zumba, watching movies, and going to the beach.

  • Graduation Ceremony Information

    At this time, all traditional high school graduations are still planned for May 29. Graduation ceremonies for Johnston County Early College Academy and Johnston County Career and Technical Leadership Academy will now take place on May 16th, rather than the original date of May 15th.

  • Board of Education Meeting set for April 7

    The April Johnston County Board of Education meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 7. The virtual meeting will begin at 4:00 p.m and will be conducted via Zoom To Comply With Social Distancing Orders. Members of the public make access the meeting via livestream.
