Hi Everyone!

Here are just a few facts about me:

I have been a teacher for over 20 years in three NC counties: Pitt, Cumberland, and Johnston.  As natives of Pitt County and graduates of ECU (where we met), my husband and I moved to Benson, NC 15 years ago with our three children and two dogs: a sweet mixed breed named Jeff and a beautiful but stubborn coon hound named Duke.   Two of our children are now on their own, and our dogs have since gone to heaven. We now have an energetic German Shephard puppy named Jojo and a lazy but sweet magestic coon hound (bloodhound/Treeing Walker Coon hound mix) named Beau that are spoiled rotten.  It has been my extreme privilege to teach 5th through 8th grades at Selma Middle for the past 4 years.  I have really enjoyed my time here.  This is a great place to work.  I feel I have the best job ever!  Our faculty is coesive, friendly, and highly professional, and the community is very supportive.  I am very, very blessed.
