A little about me.... Married for 20 years to my wonderful husband, two beautiful and talented children ages 16 and 11, a sleepy minature dotson, a brown eyed hound, one mind of his own cat, and a playful kitten as well as flocks of turkeys, peacocks, and guienas.
As a school counselor at Selma Middle, it is my intent to provide a comprehensive counseling program to address concerns and needs in the areas of academics, personal/social, and career development.
7:20 am till 3:30 pm
Morning duty from 7:30 am till 7:55 am.
Afternoon duty from 3:00 pm till 3:15 pm.
Comprehensive School Counseling Program
Program components include individual counseling, small group sessions, classroom guidance lessons, lunch bunch, organizational skills, conflict resolution, and character education. Topics will include but not limited to goal setting, bullying, study skills, test taking tips, anxiety, social skills, and others that can impact student's learning and/or emotional health. I am here to assist you in having a successful school year.

At this time, all traditional high school graduations are still planned for May 29. Graduation ceremonies for Johnston County Early College Academy and Johnston County Career and Technical Leadership Academy will now take place on May 16th, rather than the original date of May 15th.
The April Johnston County Board of Education meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 7. The virtual meeting will begin at 4:00 p.m and will be conducted via Zoom To Comply With Social Distancing Orders. Members of the public make access the meeting via livestream.
