I am so excited to be joining the Riverwood team! This will be my 10th year teaching and my 6th year in Johnston County. I am originally from Virginia, but moved to NC to attend NCSU. I received a bachelor's degree from NCSU, and then pursued a master's degree from UNC-CH. (I pledge my allegance to NCSU!) I have been married to my wonderful husband, Peter, for over 27 years. I have two sons, both in the military, and both also in college. I teach 8th grade ELA, and I absolutely love it!
I will be available for tutoring or help with make-up work on Wednesdays after school until 4:15. Please let me know in advance if you plan on staying.
I can stay other days as well, but just be sure to make arrangements in advance.
