My name is Cynthia Markham. I am happy to have the opportunity to be at West Smithfield Elementary School this year. I have taught Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade, and Fifth Grade for 28 years in Johnston and Wake Counties. I will be joining the Kindergarten team at West Smithfield Elementary School. I look forward to a terrific school year!

    8:45-11:00    ELA (Fundations, Reading, Writing, Working with words, Strategy Groups)

    10:50-11:20    LUNCH

    11:30-12:00   WIN  (review, enrichment)

    12:00-12:30   REST

    12:30-1:50    Math

    1:50-2:15     RECESS

    2:20-3:10      Enhancement Classes (Specials): Your child's teacher will have a specific schedule for the day your child

                                                                          goes to a specific special/enhancement class.

    3:15-3:45      Social Studies/Science

    3:45-4:00      Read Aloud

    4:00              Dismissal (cars, daycare, buses)
