Ms. Barbara Jennings
My name is Barbara Jennings. I was born and raised in a small town in central New York. I attended college in Albany, NY, at the College of Saint Rose. I have a wonderful daughter, amazing son-in-law, and three energetic grandchildren (with a fourth on the way!). Together we enjoy travel, swimming, outdoor fun, and lots of crafts.
I have taught at both the high school and middle school levels while in NY. Once I got tired of the snow and cold, I moved to North Carolina. I taught at Clayton Middle School from 2005 to the end of the 2015-16 school year. It was then that I moved to Selma Middle School. I am very excited to begin this new year!
I believe that every student is capable of learning and growing, both academically and socially. I meet every student where they are and strive to make them the best that they can be. Our journey together may be challenging at times, but it will be worthwhile and enjoyable.
