Ms. Barbara Jennings

My name is Barbara Jennings.  I was born and raised in a small town in central New York.  I attended college in Albany, NY, at the College of Saint Rose.  I have a wonderful daughter, amazing son-in-law, an enthusiastic grandson, and a precious baby granddaughter.  Together we enjoy travel, swimming, outdoor fun, and lots of crafts.

I taught at both the high school and middle school levels while in NY.  Once I got tired of the snow and cold, I moved to North Carolina.  I taught at Clayton Middle School from 2005 to the end of the 2015-16 school year.  It was then that I moved to Selma Middle School.  I am very excited to begin this new year!

    Johnston County Public Schools will begin graduation season with two ceremonies on Friday, May 15, followed by eight traditional high school ceremonies on Friday, May 29.

  • New deadline in JCEF grant process

    The Johnston County Education Foundation has changed its grant process from a three cycle a year process, to a once a year process. The grant deadline will now be November 15th each year and Grant Patrol will be held on the first Wednesday of December.
