Welcome to Corinth-Holders Elementary, where it’s great to be a Pirate! A place where children love to learn and teachers love to teach! It is a pleasure to serve as principal of such an accomplished school. This school breeds success because of our staff, students, parents and community working together for the betterment of all students.

At CHES, all students will be provided with the skills to learn, to achieve and to be lifelong learners. Our dedicated faculty of teachers and support staff models their love of learning each and every day as they ensure each child who enters our building has a successful, nurturing and positive learning experience. We work together as a team to create success.

Michelle Butler has 18 years teaching experience in Florida and North Carolina and was previously recognized as a Certified Teacher of the Month for Johnston County Public Schools. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida and is part of the Johnston Principal Leadership Academy at NC State University. Her certifications include Elementary Education (K-6) and Academically Gifted (K-12). Prior to coming to CHES, Mrs. Butler served as an Instructional Resource Teacher for North Johnston Middle School and a Teaching and Learning Coach at Corinth Holders High School.

Mrs. Butler is married to a principal in Wake County Schools and has two daughters who both attend Johnston County Public Schools.
