My name is Mrs. Tracy Finch, and I am excited to be starting my 10th year of teaching chorus. This is my 6th year here at Riverwood Middle. I am a 2-time graduate of East Carolina University.  In 2006, I graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance.  After teaching privately for several years, I decided to pursue public education and earned a Master of Arts in Teaching- Music Education degree from ECU in 2012.   In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my 4 children, playing piano and guitar, and traveling.

  • ACCESS testing for English Language Learners

    North Carolina schools are required to administer ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 to all students identified as English Learners (ELs) in the spring of each year to determine their progress in learning English. Each student is tested in four areas: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. This assessment helps us monitor their English language development.

  • Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23

    We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and  meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
