About Me: This year is my 14th year teaching 8th grade ELA in Johnston County. I earned my Masters in English from East Carolina University, and completed my undergrad and teaching licensure at Peace College and NC State. I live in Clayton, NC with my husband, my son, and our cat. I love language arts and enjoy sharing literature with my students!

Johnston County Public Schools will hold it's annual Trades & Classified Job Fair on Saturday, June 24. The event will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Smithfield-Selma High School, 700 M Durwood Stephenson Pkwy, Smithfield, NC 27577.

Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23
We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
