Hello!  My name is Lesley Pender and I teach 7th Grade English Language Arts. I am married and have two sons, ages 14 years old and 4 years old.  I graduated from NC State (Go Wolfpack!) and I am certified to teach Language Arts and Social Studies (Grades 6-9). I am also AIG certified,  and I have been the sponsor for the Beta Club chapter here at Riverwood Middle.

    We have just finished talking about Timelines. (BC/BCE, AD/CE)

     

    We are having a Unit 1 Assessment on Wednesday.  It will cover all of the information we have covered since the beginning of the year.  (Continents and Oceans, Landforms, Map Skills, Timelines)

     

    We are starting to talk about Early Historic Time Eras.

  • Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23

    We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and  meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
