Ms. Jenny Pitts

   

Hi!  I'm Jenny Pitts.  It's a pleasure to be a West Johnson wildcat this year.  I have a daughter in middle school and a fur baby.  In my spare time, I serve in my church and in a theater called Spiritual Twist Productions.  I also love to squeeze in trips to the beach when possible.  Thrift stores are my favorite places to shop.  I'm also a foodie.  I love to try new restaurants and new recipes. 

This year I am teaching Essentials of  English first semester and English I second semester.  This is my nineteenth year teaching.  I graduated from NC State with a Bachelor's of Science in Language Arts and Social Studies.  I'm looking forward to meeting my students and instilling in them a love of reading and writing.  Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns you may have during the school year.  

 

¡Hola! Soy Jenny Pitts. Es un placer ser un wildcat de West Johnson este año. Tengo una hija en la escuela secundaria y un bebé peludo. En mi tiempo libre, sirvo en mi iglesia y en un teatro llamado Spiritual Twist Productions. También me encanta hacer viajes a la playa cuando sea posible. Las tiendas de segunda mano son mis lugares favoritos para comprar. Yo también soy un “foodie”. Me encanta probar nuevos restaurantes y nuevas recetas. 

Este año estoy enseñando Essentials of English primer semestre e Inglés I segundo semestre. Este es mi decimonoveno año de enseñanza. Me gradué de NC State con una Licenciatura en Ciencias en Artes del Lenguaje y Estudios Sociales. Tengo muchas ganas de conocer a mis alumnos e inculcarles el amor por la lectura y la escritura. No dude en comunicarse con cualquier pregunta o inquietud que pueda tener durante el año escolar.

  • Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23

    We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and  meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.
