Welcome to World History!


My name is Jen Moreck and this is my fifteenth year as a social studies teacher for Johnston County Schools. This is my first year teaching at Corinth Holders High School and I am excited to be a Pirate!


Originally from Ohio, I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Adolescent to Young Adult Education in 2008 from Mount Union College (Alliance, Ohio) and my Master of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2013 from American College of Education (Indianapolis, Indiana).


I love history and am excited to share my knowledge of and passion for the subject with my students. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year!

JCPS Announcements

  • JCPS to implement state-of-the-art security systems

    At the November Regular Session Board of Education meeting, the Board voted unanimously to improve safety and security in Johnston County Public Schools by implementing state-of-the-art security systems in each of the district’s schools.

  • Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23

    We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and  meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.

    Johnston County Public Schools Chief of Facilities and Construction Brooks Moore presented the 2022 Growth Needs Update to the Johnston County Board of Education at their March meeting.
