Welcome to my website. I have been teaching since 2006 in North Carolina and graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2004. I have been at Riverwood Middle since 2012 teaching 8th grade math and math 1. Please see my weebly site linked at the side of the page for all the information and updates about my class.

    AIR Time - 9:18 through 9:48

    2nd Period - Math Class - 9:51 through 10:53

    3/4 (Includes Lunch) - Math Class - 10:56 through 12:35

    5th Period - Math Class - 12:38 through 1:40

    6th and 7th Period Students are at their electives and I will be in Planning

  • Updated Social Distancing Procedures

    Information on social distancing in school settings has been recently updated by the NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS). Upon receiving information from the NCDHHS, we consulted with the Johnston County Public Health Department on the impact these updates will have on our school system. This ongoing collaboration continues to guide our decision-making as students return to classrooms for in-person instruction.

  • Curbside meal service to move to middle and high schools

    As students in grades K-5 begin returning to school, the curbside locations for free meals will now be located at each middle and high school. The curbside meal locations at our elementary schools will end on Friday, Oct. 2 and will open at the middle and high schools on Monday, Oct. 5.

  • JC Board of Education approves new back to school plan

    The Johnston County Board of Education approved a back to school plan at a special called session on Thursday, Sept. 25.
