WELCOME to Mrs. Worrell's Sixth Grade Math Class
I am excited to be teaching at Swift Creek Middle School this year. It is going to be a great year filled with exciting learning experiences!
Here's a little bit about myself: I have been a teacher for twenty-one years. I grew up here in Johnston County. After graduating from Barton College, I got married and moved to S.C. and then Il. In 2003, my family and I moved back to JOCO. My husband Robbie and I have two children. Our daughter, Brianna, graduated from UNCW and lives at the beach. She is an avid scuba diver and I love seeing all of her interesting underwater videos. Our son, Sawyer, is a freshman at USC Upstate in S.C. I enjoy watching him play sports and I am looking forward to seeing him on the mound this spring playing D1 college baseball. Our family also includes our two cute mutts named Oakley and Cannon.
It is going to be an AWESOME year! As a teacher, I want to help each of my students be successful, feel confident, and enjoy their time here at school. Parents, please contact me with any questions or concerns that you may have.
Let's "Run With the Pack" and together we can make this the best year ever! Go WOLVES!
