WELCOME to Mrs. Worrell's Sixth Grade Math Class
I am looking forward to this school year at Archer Lodge Middle School. It is going to be a great year filled with exciting learning experiences!
Here's a little bit about myself: I have been a teacher for twenty-four years. I grew up here in Johnston County. After graduating from Barton College, I got married and moved to S.C. and then Il. In 2003, my family and I moved back to JOCO. My husband Robbie and I have two children. Our daughter, Brianna, graduated from UNCW and lives at the beach. She is an avid scuba diver and I love seeing all of her interesting underwater videos. Our son, Sawyer, is a junior at USC Upstate in S.C. I enjoy watching him play sports and I am looking forward to seeing him on the mound this spring playing college baseball. Our family also includes our two cute mutts named Oakley and Cannon.
It is going to be an AWESOME year! As a teacher, I want to help each of my students be successful, feel confident, and enjoy their time in school. Parents, please contact me with any questions or concerns that you may have.
Let's work as a TEAM and together we can make this the best year ever! Go Gators!
**If you have not signed up for Remind, please contact Mrs. Worrell for information. Also, make sure that you know how to login in to Power School to check your child's assignments. Please check them often. It is a great way to keep up with how your child is doing in class and to know if they are missing work. Thank you!
What's Happening NOW
