Mrs. Christine Benner

Welcome to Project Lead the Way!

I am excited to be in my sixth year teaching Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Engineering courses at Riverwood Middle School!

I graduated many years ago from UNC-Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Business Administration and worked for several years as a software development project manager for Wachovia Bank and American Express.  I decided I wanted to transition into teaching and attended Appalachain State University to obtain my graduate certificate in Middle and Secondary Education with a concentration in Technology, Engineering and Design.

I live in Clayton with my husband, my four children and a cute dog named Cooper.

I love teaching PLTW and I look forward to exploring, growing and being flexible as we learn together this semester.
