Mr. Brian Stevens

Welcome to my website, my name is Brian Stevens.  I am a veteran teacher of to many years to count and been teaching at Riverwood since 2005.  Prior to teaching at Riverwood, I have worked in Wake County NC, Halifax VA, and York PA.  After graduating from Millersville University with a BSE in mathematics, I traveled to favorable weather and have been teaching in VA and NC.  During my tenure in NC, I also earned my Master's Degree from UNC Chapel Hill. I pride myself on student growth and helping prepare students for an ever changing world.

  • Graduation Ceremony Information

    At this time, all traditional high school graduations are still planned for May 29. Graduation ceremonies for Johnston County Early College Academy and Johnston County Career and Technical Leadership Academy will now take place on May 16th, rather than the original date of May 15th.

  • Board of Education Budget Work Session set for April 27

    The Johnston County Board of Education will hold a budget work session on Tuesday, April 27. The meeting will begin at 5:00 p.m. and be held in the Evander Simpson Building in Smithfield.
