Mr. Brian Johnson

Brian Johnson is a resident of Johnston County with his wife and two daughters. He graduated in 2005 from North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Technology Education and in 2010 with a Masters in School Administration, also from North Carolina State University.

Mr. Johnson began his teaching career as a Technology and Engineering teacher in 2005 at Fuquay Varina High School in Fuquay Varina, NC. He continued his teaching as a Technology and Engineering teacher from 2006 to 2010 at Panther Creek High School in Cary, NC. Mr. Johnson also coached softball while teaching at both sites. In 2010, Mr. Johnson helped open Cleveland High School as an assistant principal, where he served for four years. He then served as principal at Powhatan Elementary from 2014-2016, and principal at North Johnston Middle School from 2016-2018.

Mr. Johnson is married to Kelly Johnson, and they have two daughters named Allie and Taylor. He enjoys family activities and serving his community.

Mrs. Lauren Watkins

Mrs. Watkins started her career in Johnston County Public Schools at Smithfield-Selma High School. During her time as an educator, she has been a high school math teacher, Testing Coordinator, Intervention Coordinator, and coach. This is her sixth year at CHHS and her fourth year serving in the capacity of Assistant Principal.

Mrs. Robin Booth

Mrs. Booth is very excited and humbled to have the opportunity to work with the Corinth Holders Pirates this year. She graduated from Elizabeth City State University with a Bachelors in Social Work. VIKING PRIDE! She also received her Masters in Executive Leadership from Gardner-Webb University. Home of the BULLDOGS! She has been in education for the last 14 years working with students with special needs at the elementary and secondary levels.

Family is a priority to her. Mrs. Booth has a wonderful husband, Cedric, and two great children, Joshua and Brielle. In her spare time she loves spending quality time with family, traveling, attending her kids sporting events and watching Lifetime movies and HGTV. Here at CHHS, we are focusing on building relationships, making our school experiences relevant, and being innovative.

Mr. Chris Germanoski

 
Mr. Germanoski started his career in Johnston County Public School at Clayton High School. During his time at Clayton High, Princeton, and Riverwood Middle he served as Director of Bands. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC Central University and NC State University. He has spent his years as an Assistant Principal at Riverwood Middle School, Clayton Middle School and Principal at Selma Middle School.
 
In his spare time, Mr. Germanoski spends time with family on the soccer pitch, at home and other athletic events. Mr. Germanoski has a wonderful wife, Kerry, and two wonderful boys, Ryan and Andrew. He enjoys cheering on the Tarheels, the Steelers and basketball at any level. Mr. Germanoski looks forward to working with all students, parents and staff to support their needs. Go Pirates!

Mr. Gary Carter

Mr. Carter has served in various capacities as a teacher, multi-sport coach, assistant principal, and principal for approximately 19 years. In addition, he worked in educational sales and marketing for 20 years. Mr. Carter is a strong advocate for education in North Carolina. In his free time, he enjoys consuming news and politics, reading, music, traveling, professional and college sports (especially the Tar Heels), and spending time at the beach.

Mrs. Michelle Swartz

Mrs. Swartz graduated from East Carolina University with a BS in Biology in 1994.  She then taught Biology and Chemistry in Johnston County for 10 years.  She obtained a Masters in School Administration from Campbell University in 2010.  Mrs. Swartz was an Assistant Principal for 7 years at North Johnston High School and is now here at Corinth-Holders High School as an Assistant Principal.  

 
She has twin daughters that graduated in 2019 and are currently attending East Carolina University.  She enjoys spending time with friends and family while traveling to places that are known for beautiful beaches and great snorkling.
