Ms. Sarah Reynolds

Sarah Reynolds started her educational career here in Johnston County as a math teacher at Smithfield Selma High School in 2005. After a few years, Ms. Reynolds started her work with the AVID program to prepare students for college and career options.  Working as the AVID Program coordinator, she discovered educational leadership was the right next step. She has administrative leadership experience that includes time at Polenta Elementary, Clayton Middle, Smithfield Selma High School. She was most recently principal at Cleveland Middle School.

Ms. Reynolds definitely appreciates the large high school setting where students have many opportunities to find their space. Whether students prefer sports, the arts, the challenge of college level courses, or spending time with friends with similar interests (looking at you, aggies), there is a place for everyone at CHHS! She looks forward to cheering on the home team and getting to know the awesome students, staff, and parents that make up "Pirate Nation!"

Ms. Reynolds enjoys being outdoors, from the beach to the mountains, or at any state park or trail in between. On a rainy day, you can find her reading or playing with legos!

Mrs. Robin Booth

Hello Pirate Family! I am so excited about this upcoming year at CHHS. I know this year will bring its challenges but we will get through it together. I have faith in our Pirate Family that we will continue to persevere.  I am a graduate of Elizabeth City State University with a Bachelors in Social Work. VIKING PRIDE! I received my Masters in Executive Leadership from Gardner-Webb University. Home of the BULLDOGS! I have been in education for the last 16 years. First working with students with special needs at the elementary and secondary levels and then as an Assistant Principal. Family is very important to me. I love spending quality with my hubby Cedric, and our two children, Joshua and Brielle. We also have a black Labrador Retriever named Shadow. In my spare time I love spending quality time with family, traveling, attending my kids sporting events and watching Lifetime movies and HGTV. Here at CHHS, I will continue to focus on building relationships and making our school experiences relevant.
