Mrs. Susan Pribble
My name is Susan Pribble. I have been working as a first grade teacher for 19 years. This is my 17th year at Riverwood. I am originally from New York and received my bachelors degree in social work from SUNY Plattsburgh. I followed that by getting my Masters degree in education from SUNY Postdam. My husband and I have a 11 year old son, Silas, who will be entering 6th grade this year at Riverwood Middle. I am very excited to be your child's teacher and am looking forward to a successful school year!

ACCESS testing for English Language Learners
North Carolina schools are required to administer ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 to all students identified as English Learners (ELs) in the spring of each year to determine their progress in learning English. Each student is tested in four areas: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. This assessment helps us monitor their English language development.

Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23
We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.

2022 Growth Needs Update
Johnston County Public Schools Chief of Facilities and Construction Brooks Moore presented the 2022 Growth Needs Update to the Johnston County Board of Education at their March meeting.
