My name is Susan Pribble. I have been working as a first grade teacher for 18 years. This is my 16th year at Riverwood. I am originally from New York and received my bachelors degree in social work from SUNY Plattsburgh. I followed that by getting my Masters degree in education from SUNY Postdam. My husband and I have a 10 year old son, Silas, who will be entering 5th grade this year. I am very excited to be your child's teacher and am looking forward to a successful school year!

At a Special Session meeting on Oct. 27, the Johnston County Board of Education approved the following calendar changes: adding two wellness days and an optional teacher work day to the district’s November calendar.
At their August meeting, the Johnston County Board of Education voted 4-3 to make face coverings required indoors in all Johnston County Public Schools campuses and on all buses for students, staff, and guests. This updated mask requirement is effective immediately.
