Mrs. Susan Pribble
My name is Susan Pribble. I have been working as a first grade teacher for 17 years. This is my 15th year at Riverwood. I am originally from New York and received my bachelors degree in social work from SUNY Plattsburgh. I followed that by getting my Masters degree in education from SUNY Postdam. My husband and I have a 9 year old son, Silas, who will be entering 4th grade this year. I am very excited to be your child's teacher and am looking forward to a successful school year!

Office Hours are from 7:30 am-4:45 pm; Students may enter the building each day at 8:20 am and the tardy bell rings at 8:50 am; School dismisses at 3:40 pm

Innovative Programs Virtual Family Information Nights Scheduled
Johnston County Public Schools invites students and their families to learn more about our interesting options for our middle and high school students during our Virtual Information Nights on January 28 and February 4, 2021. Participants will be able to visit the virtual spaces for each program and talk with program coordinators and students from 6:00-8:00 pm.

JCPS transitions to Plan B for all students
The Johnston County Board of Education voted to return all Pre-K and EC-Self Contained students to Plan B, four days per week, beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 19. These students will participate in face-to-face instruction on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with Wednesday serving as a remote learning day. All other students in grades K-12 will remain on Plan C until Monday, Feb. 1.

High School State Assessments Update
On December 8th 2020, the Johnston County School Board of Education voted to return to Plan C (Remote Learning), we would like to provide an update to parents and guardians of options to complete state-mandated End-of-Course (EOC) and Career/Technical Education Post Assessment testing.
