Welcome to Third Grade!

Hi my name is Mistie Pulleyn (pronounced Pull Lean) and I am your child's Third Grade Science  and Social Studies Teacher.  I have been in the teaching profession for 19 years.  I have worked at the Department of Defense School System in KY and Germany and then moved to North Carolina in 2007.  This is my 9th year in the Johnston County School System.  I have my bachelors degree in Elementary Education, Special Education, Hearing Impaired K-12 and my Masters Degree Education in Curriculum.

I hope you had a wonderful summer and are ready to embark on a new journey with your child.  Third grade is an exciting, yet challenging year.  Daily we work with your child to prepare them for all that is expected of them.  Together through collaboration and communication your child should have a great and successful year!!!
