Degrees and Certifications:
****Update for English 1 students effective May 19th, 2020:
High school courses taken in middle school will follow the grading presented for high school students. Students will have a choice of PC19 or a numeric grade for the Spring semester grade. Middle School students receiving a WC19 will be handled on a case-by-case basis at the school level. Students who receive a WC19 will not receive course credit and will need to credit recover or retake the course next school year. Per SBE policy CCRE-001, numeric grades for high school courses taken in middle school will not be calculated in the high school GPA, but the grades will appear on the high school transcript.
Students and parents have access to a letter in Powerschool indicating the student’s Semester 1 grade and the Quarter 3 (Semester 2) grade along with student option information. This letter is accessible via the student portal and parent portal in Powerschool. Once the letter has been reviewed, students will click on their school’s link and complete the Middle School Grading Options for High School Credit Classes indicating their decision: PC19 or numerical grade.
Please go to the Swift Creek Middle School website to fill out the Swift Creek Middle School Grading Options for High School Credit Classes form. This form needs to be completed by May 29th.
