Mrs. Anita Shively

Hi, my name is Anita Shively and I have been teaching English/Language Arts at Riverwood for seven years. I am excited to have the kids back in the classroom soon. They are my favorite part of teaching.

A little about me, I was born and raised in California, until I moved to North Carolina in 1997 to raise my own family with my husband, Patrick. We have three wonderful, grown children, a lovely daughter-in-law, and brand-new granddaughter. Life is fun! I like traveling, cooking, and enjoying good food and art. Our latest adventure was to Budapest and Prague to visit our youngest daughter in 2019. In addition, My husband and I co-pastor a small church in town.

I am looking forward to meeting you and your child. Our team is going to do our very best job to make this a great year!

  • Updated Social Distancing Procedures

Information on social distancing in school settings has been recently updated by the NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS). Upon receiving information from the NCDHHS, we consulted with the Johnston County Public Health Department on the impact these updates will have on our school system.
