Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Andrea Kas

Hello!  My name is Mrs. Kas and I have been teaching in Johnston County Schools for 20 years.  Seventeen of those years have been here at Riverwood Elementary School. I live in Clayton with my husband, two sons, and two dogs.  I am originally from New Jersey, where I graduated with a BA from Rutgers University.  When I moved to NC 22 years ago, I then earned my M.Ed. in Elementary Education from Campbell University.  My older son is now a sophomore at Campbell University. My younger son is a junior at Clayton High.  I look forward to teaching you ELA and Social Studies this year!
