BS Elementary Education - East Carolina University National Board Certified - 2005, renewed 2015

Mrs. Wooding

I grew up in Elizabeth City, NC and have always lived in North Carolina.  This school year is my 20th year of teaching, 10 of them were in 3rd grade and this is my 10th year in 2nd grade.  I've been in Johnston County for my entire teaching career and this is my 16th year at River Dell Elementary.  I have been National Board Certified since 2005, recently renewing in 2015.

In my personal life...I am married and have two little boys, Cameron and Jaxon.  Cameron is in Middle School and Jaxon is in 2nd grade at River Dell.  We love to watch sports and spend time by the water.  Another thing that I LOVE is Duke basketball.  I'm a huge Blue Devils fan.  I never miss a game and support them through the good and bad.  GO DUKE!!!  (side note...my husband is a UNC fan, so we're a house divided!)  I also love to just about any sporting event, have fun, and relax. I enjoy time outside by the water, be it pool, river, or ocean.  I really enjoy working out daily and watching good movies on the weekends.

I hope that this year will bring many fun and exciting adventures for us!
