Degrees and Certifications:
Bachelors Degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in elementary education and a minor in early childhood education
Hello. My name is Tammy Westerbeck. I am a 3rd grade teacher. This is my 23rd year of teaching elementary school in North Carolina. After graduating from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, I moved down south to begin my teaching career. I have taught every grade at one point from PreK to 6th. My goal as a teacher is to make every child feel loved and accomplished. All of the children I work with are cared for like I would care for my own 4 children. Teaching is my passion and I strive to be the best teacher that I can be each and every day. I am so very excited to begin this new adventure of opening Thanksgiving Elementary this school year.
