Mrs. Sara Rippard

Hi!  My name is Sara Rippard. This will be my 13th year teaching at River Dell.   I enjoy watching the excitement when students are engaged and learning new things.  In 5th Grade, your child will be switching classes.  I will be your child's ELA and Social Studies teacher.  Ms. Hines will be your child's Math and Science teacher.

I grew up in Connnecticut and moved to North Carolina after graduating from college.  I started teaching in 2006 after graduating from Sacred Heart University in Connecticut with my Masters Degree in Elementary Education.  I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, and spending time outdoors.  The beach is one of my favorite places to visit.

Carpool Reminders:You can use both lanes in our two lane road as you enter our carpool to help balance out the line. We want to make sure we do not have any cars out on Buffalo Rd. Mr. Jewett will be at the top helping to direct traffic and alternating the cars; so if you see one line is longer than the other, you can switch lanes carefully to balance out the lines.
