Mrs. Maryam Duran

I am Maryam Duran. This is my second year at SSS, it is very exciting to be a  part of  The Spartan Family. It is my privilege to serve as the EC Coordinator/Coach.

A little bit about me: I graduated from Barton College with a Bachelors, then received my Master's Degree in Special Education from UNC Charlotte. I value myself as a life-long learner and love to take any opportunity to advance my knowledge and skill set in order to be able to provide support to the staff and students at SSS.

I was born in Texas and from there have been all over. Being the child of a military family, I had the opportunity to live on four continents and six states (that was a lot of different schools). After a lot of traveling and living overseas, my family and I moved to North Carolina in 2013. My husband and I have two children; both currently attend SSS.
