Welcome to my website!  My name is Kristen Veilleux and I am a Fourth Grade teacher at River Dell Elementary.   I am thrilled to be starting my 10th year at River Dell Elementary!  I earned my BS in Elementary Education at Keene State College, NH in 1993.  In 2006, my husband's employer, State Farm,  relocated our family to NC. What an amazing journey it has been.  We love NC!     My husband and I will be celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary this November and together we are blessed with two amazing children.  Our daughter, Ally, is a sophomore at  Corinth Holders High School.  Our son, Zach, is a 7th grader at Archer Lodge Middle School.   Teaching is my passion and I believe strongly in the power of connecting with my students and their families.    Your child becomes a part of my heart once they enter our classroom.  In my free time, I enjoy watching my daughter dance and sing, as well as attend my son's ice hockey games!  I also enjoy traveling, reading, visiting the beach and spending time with family and good friends.

  • Updated School Nutrition Information for 2022-23

    We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and  meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.

  • Connect Ed Message: 11-27-22

    We are excited about heading into the last 15 school days before Christmas break. On Wednesday, Spirit Sticks will be sold for $1.00 a piece before school. We also want to remind parents to please park and walk your students into the office if you arrive after the doors are closed in the morning. We appreciate your cooperation with this.
