2021-2022 will be my fifteenth year teaching at River Dell Elementary. I have taught fifth grade for all of those years. I currently teach science and writing with a social studies focus for fifth grade. Before moving to North Carolina, I attended Union University in Jackson, Tennessee.  I was born in Nashville, TN and lived there until moving to teach here! My goal as a teacher is to instill a love of learning in students and engage their curiosity to learn more when outside the classroom setting.

    We hope that you and your student have already noticed some of the exciting new food and  meal opportunities we are offering in our cafeterias this school year. Our new options will include more fresh produce, vegetarian options, and opportunities for students to customize their meal choice. These new offerings will be available at both breakfast and lunch.

  • Connect Ed Message: 11-27-22

    We are excited about heading into the last 15 school days before Christmas break. On Wednesday, Spirit Sticks will be sold for $1.00 a piece before school. We also want to remind parents to please park and walk your students into the office if you arrive after the doors are closed in the morning. We appreciate your cooperation with this.
