Degrees and Certifications:
BS Mathematics - Appalachian State University National Board Certification
Mrs. Alicia Stevens
My name is Alicia Stevens and I look forward to an awesome year at PHS! This will be my 17th year teaching, and I am sure it will be my best year yet! I graduated high school in 2001 from Rosewood, and went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at Appalachian State University where I was a part of their Teaching Fellows Program. (Go Mountaineers!) Nine years ago, I became National Board Certified in Mathematics as well.
Outside of school, I am a wife to a wonderful husband (Brad) and mother to two rambunctious little ones (Luke and Gatlin). I am sure you will hear about all of them at some point this year. I am also very involved in my local church, The Bridge (Mount Olive), working with their outreach and kids ministries.
If you need me for anything this year, please do not hesitate to email me or send me a message through Remind.
Hey , so glad to have you in my class! I look forward to meeting you! Here are a few things you will need for my class.
3-ring binder with looseleaf paper
2 or more Expo Markers (fine tipped)
A good attitude and a willingness to work hard everyday!
My wishlist would include Kleenex tissues, chisel-tipped Expo markers, Expo cleaner
At their August meeting, the Johnston County Board of Education voted 4-3 to make face coverings required indoors in all Johnston County Public Schools campuses and on all buses for students, staff, and guests. This updated mask requirement is effective immediately.
The online application for the Johnston County Public Schools Preschool Program is now available. Parents who are interested in the JCPS Preschool Program are encouraged to apply early, as availability is on a first come, first served basis. The application window closes on June 30th.
